Birds are our little winged friends, which we can meet both in the city and in the wilderness.
If you have ever been sleeping in a tent where there was a forest around, you know very well that birds can wake up even the most sleepy person at dawn. But isn't the concert of birds' voices in the morning the most pleasant of all possible wake-up calls?
It's worth learning to recognize birds found in Poland, whose drawings were made especially for us by Kamil Tarnawa.

However, please remember that the package will not be provided by Moose Maurice. First of all, it has too many hollows and holes to visit in the forest. Secondly, we do not put our hands to use animals for work, even the fairy-tale ones.
The Hoopoe is certainly not to be confused with any other bird. It is orange in colour, it has a characteristic peak on its head, which looks like an Indian plume, and additionally its wings are black and white striped like those of a zebra. It is an original like no other, not only because of its appearance, but also because of the way it moves (in flight it resembles a large butterfly), and when it wants to scare off an uninvited intruder, it, like a skunk, shoots a stinking liquid in its direction, which can effectively scare off anyone. Additionally, its way of eating is also unusual. The hoopoe crushes captured insects and larvae in its beak, then tosses them up, grabs them and only then swallows them. That is why, if this bird were visiting an aunt's house for dinner, it would probably hear: "Hoopoe, don't play with your food!”
